The Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act otherwise known as "Obamacare" has several positive changes but is so complicated and so confusing it left most businesses scratching their heads. Below is a link to the actual bill that was signed into law from the Government Printing Office (GPO) website.

I firmly believe that healthcare in America is a moral issue just as much as an economic issue. Healthcare companies make profits by refusing care to some patients or by increasing premium costs. In its simplest form their profits are the total amount of premiums collected from its customers minus payment to doctors for care given to patients.

I will support a total repeal of the Affordable Health Care Act if and only if a new bipartisan plan was agreed upon to take its place. I envision reform that is not run or controlled by the federal government. I believe the federal government should require states to craft their own solutions and nothing more. All Americans deserve access to quality healthcare regardless of income or economic status.
